Hi, I'm Tamar.
A coach, parent, and advocate.
I pronounce my name "Tah-Mahr"

If you're here, know that I've been exactly in your shoes.
I'd love to help you and your family.
I often say I became a special education mom overnight, because that's exactly how it felt.
One day, I was parenting mostly in survival mode. The next, I was trying to understand evaluations, diagnoses, school systems, legal rights, therapeutic supports, and how to advocate for my boys without losing sight of who they were beyond the paperwork.
I'm also 2e myself, identified as gifted early in life and later diagnosed as neurodivergent. So this is not a framework I discovered from the outside. I have lived inside it for decades, as both the child whose struggles were easy to miss and the parent trying to make sense of complex children in real time.
Before founding MYTI, I spent more than two decades in tech, working at the intersection of communications, strategy, and data. My work has always centered on making complex information clear, useful, and actionable. I also hold two degrees in psychology and am a Registered Schema Coach, which gives me additional tools for understanding the patterns that shape how we parent, advocate, protect, and respond under pressure.
MYTI exists because raising 2e children inside systems that were not built for them can be isolating, overwhelming, and deeply confusing. My role is to help families understand the landscape, identify what their child needs, and build the informed support system they need to move forward.

“But They’re Doing Fine at School.”
For 2e kids — gifted alongside a learning disability, ADHD, autism, or another difference — “doing fine” academically and behaviorally is often exactly why testing and services get denied. It shouldn't be.
